Student Care@ Gordonstoun GCSE Revision

Students will make new friends and be made to feel welcome and included in a warm family environment.

Pastoral Care

The wellbeing of all students on the revision course will be closely monitored by an experienced pastoral team who will be in constant dialogue with the teaching staff, instructors and refectory personnel to ensure that everyone is fully supported at all times.

Sleeping

A good night’s sleep is absolutely essential for retention of the facts, skills and ideas which have been firing in the students’ brains all day. It is with this in mind that bedtime is at 22:15. The use of devices is discouraged as it is proven to have a negative impact on sleep. Students will be accommodated in a boarding house in single or twin rooms. There is a male wing with a Houseparent and a female wing with a Houseparent.

The Gordonstoun refectory has an excellent reputation for providing healthy and tasty food and there will be a special menu on offer for the duration of the revision week which aims to boost focus and memory, and all dietary requirements will be catered for by our experienced team.
